DESCRIPTION:Musical Weekend with Peter Mack\nSunday\, January 12\, 2020 \nTWO SESSIONS:\n1:15pm Masterclass\n3:15pm Masterclass\n \nTeachers can sign up their level 6 and up students to perform in the masterclass by emailing Olya Katsman at ok4misha@hotmail.com. The deadline is December 9th. Please include the student’s age and level\, the title of piece and duration of the piece. Decision will be based on the order of emails received as well as providing a balanced program of repertoire. \nTeachers will be notified of acceptance by December 16th\nThe fee is $45 per selected student.\nMake check payable to MTAC-SACB and mail to\nMillie Chiem(Treasurer)\n29338 Stonebrook Lane\nHayward\, Ca 94544 \nBoth events will be held at\nDominican Sisters of Mission San Jose (Auditorium)\n43326 Mission Circle\nFremont\, Ca 94539 \nCLICK HERE to reserve your seat for this event \nPeter Mack\nwas born in Ireland\,\nwhere he had his early training with Frank\nHeneghan at the Dublin College of Music.\nSubsequent study was at Trinity College\, Dublin\,\nand with Bela Siki at the University of Cincinnati\nCollege Conservatory of Music and at the University\nof Washington where he earned his doctorate in\npiano performance. \nMack has performed throughout the United States and Europe\, as well\nas in Australia and the former Soviet Union. He is the winner of the New\nOrleans\, Young Keyboard Artists and Pacific International Piano\nCompetitions. His prize in the Sherman–Clay competition included a\nSteinway grand piano. Mack is well known for his extensive repertoire\,\nhaving performed twenty–five concertos with orchestras. He is equally\nin demand as a performer\, clinician\, convention artist\, and teacher\, and\nhis pupils are frequent winners of local\, national\, and international\ncompetitions. \n“Mack is one of those lucky ones\, born with a completely balanced set\nof talents.
