DESCRIPTION:Pedagogy and Play\nOur first Pedagogy and Play meeting is scheduled on Wednesday\, November 17\, at 10:00am at Olya Katsman’s home 38733 Jonquil Dr. Newark\, CA 94560. \n\nPedagogy & Play is an informal social for teachers to discuss various pedagogical topics\, and also a chance to perform for each other or sightread through some 4-8 hand ensembles (optional)!\n\nWe’d like to suggest a topic “Making History Meaningful”. How do you incorporate teaching music history in your lessons? You can also suggest any topic for discussion! \n\nWe will have pot luck brunch following the discussion and performances\, so please bring some food to share! \nSometimes we just need a chance to unwind! Also a friendly chance to meet with other teachers and enjoy each other’s company.\n​\nThere is ample space in the studio\, also outdoor patio will be available for those who feel more comfortable being outdoors. However\, to adhere to social distancing protocols\, we are limiting the attendance to the first 25 people registered. Hand sanitation station will be available.
